Maison Preston from Paris is the new chapter of the French brand Les Mémères Paris, founded by Marine in Paris in 2017.
The brand was born from memories of growing up in the Loire Valley, surrounded by antiques, flea markets, family travels, and the timeless beauty of French craftsmanship. Years later, after moving to Paris and working in interior design, Marine developed a passion for blending vintage authenticity with a modern lifestyle.
One day, while wandering through a flea market in France, she discovered an antique needlepoint tapestry canvas and instantly fell in love with it. Beyond its beauty, she saw the countless hours of craftsmanship and history woven into every piece — treasures slowly disappearing and no longer considered fashionable at the time.
She refused to let them be forgotten.
Together with her mother, she designed her very first tapestry bag. After receiving endless compliments and requests from strangers in the street, she realized she had created something truly unique.
Marine launched her first collection in Paris in 2017, giving a new life to forgotten vintage French tapestries through one-of-a-kind handbags and clutches.
In 2022, Maison Preston’s story crossed the Atlantic when Marine moved from Paris to the United States with her husband and son. After several years in Dallas, Texas, Maison Preston is now proudly designed and created in Charlotte, North Carolina — while continuing to celebrate its French heritage, craftsmanship, and love for timeless pieces with a story to tell.

Because these rare textiles are increasingly difficult to find, mass production is naturally limited — making exclusivity and sustainability part of our DNA.
Vintage and antique, every canvas carries a story. Woven from natural materials such as cotton or wool, each piece reflects countless hours of handmade craftsmanship and timeless savoir-faire.
We believe in quality over quantity, which is why we release only a few carefully curated collections throughout the year.
Rooted in sustainability and thoughtful production, Maison Preston collections are designed in Charlotte, North Carolina, and handcrafted in small local workshops in the United States.
