Au large is French for Out of the sea.
He knows the sea by heart, but every day brings something different. Out on the trawler, the wind picks up while his wife waits for his return in their little Breton village. Soon, the boats will be back in the harbor, with stories of the day to tell.
One of my favorite bags of this collection with with all these incredible vintage needlepoint. I love the blues, the sea, and the character of these faces. So much life in one piece, and a style I could never get tired of.Warning: you may feel like you're wearing a piece of art
